The proposed Deporter-in-Chief Exhibit for the future Obama Presidential Library & Museum will document the President's legacy on deportations, should he fail to enact administrative relief to stop deportations.
Recently, the Barack Obama Foundation announced the four finalists for the Obama Presidential Library and Museum: the University of Illinois at Chicago, the University of Chicago, Columbia University, and the University of Hawaii. If the President fails to use his executive authority to stop deportations, we believe his future Library & Museum should include a Deporter-in-Chief Exhibit documenting his horrid legacy of broken promises and two million deportations.
It's not too late for the President to reverse course and announce administrative relief to stop deportations; but if Obama fails to act on administrative relief he will cement his legacy as the Deporter-in-Chief, a legacy that should be remembered at the taxpayer administered Obama Library & Museum.
We are currently requesting contributions of stories, memorabilia, photos, banners, and other items that tell the story of Obama's two million-plus deportations. Visit deporterinchiefexhibit.tumblr.com to make your contribution.
